Troubleshooting

Symptom

Apple CarPlay does not start.

The unit freezes while using

Apple CarPlay.

Cause/Correction

▪ The iPhone you are using does not support Apple

CarPlay.

→ Check the supported OS version.

▪ There is a connection problem between the iPhone

and the unit.

→ Disconnect the cable from the iPhone, and then

connect the iPhone again after a few seconds.

→ Disconnect the iPhone, turn it off, and then turn it

on again.

The smartphone was not

charged.

▪ Charging stopped because the temperature of the

smartphone rose due to prolonged use of the

smartphone during charging.

→ Remove the smartphone from the cable, and wait

until the smartphone cools down.

While operating an application,

a black screen is displayed.

While operating an application,

The screen is displayed, but

operation does not work at all.

▪ The application was ended on the smartphone.

→ Tap the

Home

to display the Apple CarPlay home

screen.
