Listening to Music from a Bluetooth Device
This unit supports the Bluetooth profile "A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile)".
If your mobile phone or music player supports this profile then it is possible to listen to
music tracks located on your Bluetooth device through this unit and car speakers.
Additionally, this unit supports the "AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile)".
If your Bluetooth mobile phone or music player supports this profile then it is possible to
advance to the next track or replay previous tracks on using the buttons on the front of
this unit or steering wheel remote controls (if fitted) on your vehicle.

Switch to Bluetooth signal on your
mobile phone/music device.
"Stereo Headset" appears when the
connection is made.

Press the
MEDIA
button to enter the
Media menu screen, then tap the
Bluetooth Audio
.
Bluetooth Audio playing screen appears
and start playback.

The title/artist information may not be
supported in some phones.
• If music is not yet playing from your
mobile device after switching to
streaming audio (Bluetooth Audio)
mode or after pressing Play on the
mobile device itself, pressing again the
button once may begin playing the
music. Check to see whether music is
playing from the Bluetooth device after
switching to streaming audio mode.
• The Streaming audio feature may not
be supported in some phones.
Note

• The Bluetooth audio profile connection
must be occupied by the Bluetooth music
player in order for simultaneous
connection of a music player and mobile
phone.
• This function is not available when Apple
CarPlay or Android Auto is connected.
When connect the Apple CarPlay or
Android Auto, Bluetooth connection is
disconnected automatically.
