7. Trouble shooting
Length error:
1. check the hose comes off the coil without any problem.
2. check the od of the hose and that you have the right tooling. the tooling must always
be 3-4 mm bigger than the hose od.
check that the hose travels thru guides smoothly.
3. check tolerance setting.
4. too high feeding speed on the belt, choose lower speed.
5. check and clean the measurewheel for the encoder.
(only if the encoder is applied on the secondary measurewheel)
6. adjust measuring wheel diameter setting.
7. conveyor speed is wrong, adjust on control for conveyor.
8. check all ballbearings in the belt unit and that the belts run smoothly.
9. If the air pressure system has too low flow/minute it can effect the measuring system
and the belt feeding system.
Recomended hose / tube size feeding the machine: min. 3/8”.
Cut motor do not start:
1. check circuit breaker and the alarmlist on the controll panel list.
2. check that the knifecut* plug is placed in it’s socket.
(*option)
No feeding of the hose in the cutting machine:
1. check the belt pressure regulator setting, factory default value: 2,5 bar
2. turn of all air pressure to the machine and push/pull the movable side of the belt unit,
it should slide smoothly to it’s end positions.
3. check measurewheel pressure regulator setting, factory default value: 1,25 bar
4. check servodrive unit, error message: restart system.
HoseReel/feeding system is not working.
1. check 3-way direction switch on the control stand, fwd-0ff-rev
2. check start signal from the photoelectric sensor at the eos stand.
3. check connection plugs, see the electrical drawing.
bad cut result
1. check tool size.
2. Check prebend flap angle.
3. check and adjust the cut speed. low-medium- high
3. check cutting blade sharpness.
The cutting motor stall:
1. too high cutting speed, adjust: low-medium- high
2. prebending angle of the hose is too small.
3. Change to ”Low” cut position in the drive parameters.
4. motor circuit breaker faulty adjusted, check amps at motor type plate.
