6 Commissioning
6.1 Basic settings
All the settings on the Sensors and Control Unit are programmed before delivery by the
manufacturer. The settings were programmed according to the details provided by the owner
for the temperature range, electronic values of the components A and B, and the alarm
setting.
6.2 First Commissioning
Before the first commissioning, check the sensor connection for leaks, and check the
connection cable for damages.
6.3 Turning on and Commissioning
The unit is commissioned by turning on the power supply. An external display will
immediately show the current measured values from the sensor. The alarms and interfaces
are also immediately active.
When operating without an additional display, commissioning should take place on a
computer or laptop with an active terminal program. In the terminal program, all outputs and
settings for the Sensor and Control Unit can be directly controlled and, if necessary, aligned.
When starting the terminal program, after turning of the power supply. it may be necessary to
press ESC on the keyboard in order to reestablish the terminal program display.
