Shutdown
10.1 Temporary shutdown
A temporary shutdown, for example from a power loss, has no additional consequences for
the Sensor and Control Unit. The measuring system starts up immediately after the power
comes back on and sends the measured values of the sensor. For a temporary disassembly
of the Sensor and Control Unit, both parts should be clean and dry, frost-protected and dust-
free during storage.
10.2 Final Decommissioning / Disposal
When decommissioning and/or disposing of the AS 8000, adherence is to be maintained to
local guidelines and regulations pertaining to occupational safety and environmental
protection. This applies in particular to the oil in the unit, components covered with oil and
electronic components. This applies in particular to the oil contained in the unit, to
components coated in oil and to electronic components.
After disassembling the unit and separating the various materials, they can be reused or are
to be disposed of properly in accordance with local regulations.
