6.4 Making the electrical connections
Depending on the version, the filter unit has different electric
motors (e.g. different voltage/performance/number of phases,
with/without power plug etc.).
Observe the following chapters to connect the filter unit electri-
cally.
The IP protection class of the power plug installed on the
productcan vary from the IP protection class of the entire
product, see
Chapter 7.2.2.
If you require a power plug with a higher IP protection class,
exchange this one for a suitable power plug. Exchanging the
power plug has no effect on the validity of the CE declaration
of conformity of the entire product.
Depending on the version, the filter unit has thermal protection
in the motor windings and a motor protection switch in the ter-
minal box to protect it from electrical overload.
Only for MFU-15E
For protection against opening the terminal box by unautho-
rized persons, there is a screw attached in the terminal box
lid.
