pleated design make high flow rates
possible.
DIN 51524
The most used pressure fluids are
produced on the basis of mineral oil
with the respective additives. They
are also called hydraulic oils. In
Germany, the designations H, HL,
HLP and HVLP according to DIN
51524 are used. HL according to
DIN 51524, Part 1: with active sub-
stances for increasing corrosion
protection and resistance to aging.
They are used at pressures of up to
200 bar and meet the normal ther-
mal loads. HLP according to DIN
51524, Part 2: with active sub-
stances for increasing corrosion
protection, with high-pressure addi-
tives and resistance to aging. They
are used at pressures of up to and
above 200 bar and meet the normal
thermal loads. HLP according to
DIN 51524, Part 2: with active sub-
stances for increasing corrosion
protection, resistance to aging and
reduction of wear due to scoring in
mixed friction areas. HVLP DIN
51524, Part 3: with active sub-
stances for increasing corrosion
protection, resistance to aging, re-
duction of wear due to scoring in
mixed friction areas and improve-
ment in the viscosity-temperature
behavior). HLPD: with active sub-
stances for increasing corrosion
protection, resistance to aging and
with additives with a detergent ef-
fect.
FKM
The term "Fluororubber" (abbrevia-
tion FKM according to DIN ISO
1629 [earlier: FPM] and FKM ac-
cording to ASTM D 1418) repre-
sents an entire group of rubbers,
which have, as a common charac-
teristic, viniledine difluoride as one
of its monomers.

HEES
HEES (Based on synthetic esters):
Synthetic esters can be produced
on the basis of renewable re-
sources and also based on mineral
oil. They are highly biologically
degradable and not hazardous to
water and meet Water hazard class
1. They have high resistance to ag-
ing and are not sensitive to extreme
operating temperatures.
