SW Upgrade 

You can upgrade software. 
HPE-410 consists of three kinds of software. GUI software handles user input and MOTOR software 
controls mechanical parts of the edger and TRACER software controls built-in frame reader.

  MOTOR 

– Upgrade MOTOR software 

③

  TRACER 

– Upgrade built-in frame reader software   

④

  Automatic Restart 

– Automatically restarts the system after SW update (for GUI) 

 
 

 

 

•

 

It is highly recommended to use latest software. 

•

 

In most cases, upgrade both GUI and MOTOR software. 

•

 

Software version is displayed on the menu screen. 

•

 

If  you  have  multiple  versions  of  SW  in  the  SD  card,  you  can  select  the  version  by 
pressing the version button. 
 

•

 

How to upgrade GUI software 

①

 

Copy upgrade file to a SD card and insert the SD card into the system. 

②

 

Check the SW version displayed on the upgrade dialog box 

③

 

Press the GUI button to start upgrade. 

④

 

GUI upgrading process takes about 10 ~ 20 seconds. 

⑤

 

After upgrading process finishes, restart the system. 

⑥

 

If the system rebooted, new software will be launched.
