TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Fault Codes PRIME tools
Several of the error messages below may appear simultaneously It is important to check all the messages in order to
make a correct analysis of the error. When the first error message is dismissed the next one will appear.
* XX different numbers depending on the tool that is connected to the power unit
Code
Message
Reason
Action
F0101
Overcurrent detected
This error is caused by an overcurrent
to the tool This may be due to a short
circuit, poor wire insulation, or the drill
or saw blade has been pinched abruptly
If the error is repeated several times it
could be a hardware failure, such as a
short circuit It may also be caused by
a short circuit in the motor (check the
tool’s WM troubleshooting guide), a
short circuit in the Power Pack, or slurry
build-up between connector terminals
Run at a lower speed and/or a
more even load If this doesn’t
help then check all hardware
FXX08
High motor temperature
detected
This error may be caused by the tool’s
motor temperature becoming too high
Increase the flow of cooling water
(See the technical specifications
in the Owner’s Manual of the
connected tool) Other reasons
may be that the temperature
sensor in the HF motor is poorly
connected or is defective The
fault may however not be due to
an insufficient oil level in the
motor Check the troubleshooting
manual for the respective tools
F0112
Low input voltage
detected
This error is due to the input voltage
being too low It can also be caused by
using extensions cords that are too long
or thin, or if the cables are wound tightly
in a roll You might get the error if the
outlet is ungrounded
Check the Owner’s Manual for
the minimum input current
allowed Ensure the voltage of the
electrical outlet is high enough
(it is important to measure the
voltage during operation) If the
error does not occur at the service
center where the voltage outlet
is sufficient, there is probably
nothing wrong with the product
F0113
High input voltage
detected
This error is caused by an input voltage
that is too high This might be caused by
voltage spikes from generators with poor
power quality
Check the Owner’s Manual for
the maximum allowed input
current and frequency range
FXX14
Tool temperature sensor
error detected
This error may be caused by an open or
short circuit in the temperature sensor,
or that the temperature sensor in the
tool is not connected or faulty
Check the troubleshooting
guide for the respective tool for
troubleshooting the temperature
sensor/tool card
