Removing the rear wheel

Press in new bearing

all the way using a suitable tool.

Only press the bearing in via the outer ring otherwise
the bearing will be damaged when it is pressed in.

Grease new shaft seal rings

they are flush.
Finishing work

Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. (

Main work
Press the brake caliper onto the brake disc by hand in order
to push back the brake piston.

Make sure when pushing back the brake piston that
you do not press the brake caliper against the spokes.

Remove chain adjuster

Pull out wheel spindle

enough to allow the rear wheel to be pushed forward.
Push the rear wheel forward as far as possible. Remove the
chain from the rear sprocket.

Cover the components to protect them against dam
age.
Warning
Danger of accidents
Damaged brake discs reduce
the braking effect.
- Always lay the wheel down in such a way that the
brake disc is not damaged.
