Checking the tire air �ressure 

Info 

Low tire air pressure leads to abnormal wear and overheating of the tire. 

Correct tire air pressure ensures optimal riding comfort and maximum tire service life. 

Remove the protection cap. 

- Check the tire air pressure when the tires are cold.

Tire air pressure off road 

front 

I  1.0 bar (15 psi) 

rear 

11.0 bar (15 psi) 

Road tire pressure (FE EU/ AU) 

front 

11.5 bar (22 psi) 

rear 

I  1 .5 bar (22 psi) 

If the tire air pressure does not meet specifications: 

Correct the tire air pressure. 

Mount protection cap. 

Checking the tire condition

Only mount tires approved and/or recommended by Husqvarna Motorcycles. 

Other tires could have a negative effect on handling characteristics. 

The type, condition, and air pressure of the tires all have a major impact on the handling of the motorcy­

cle. 

The tires mounted on the front and rear wheels must have a similar profile. 

Worn tires have a negative effect on handling characteristics, especially on wet surfaces. 

- Check the front and rear tires for cuts, run-in objects, and

other damage.

If the tires have cuts, run-in objects, or other damage: 

Change the tires. 

- Check the tread depth.
