(1) When external HDD farm is connected to IEEE1394 port, “Disk Manager” runs automatically. If not,
run it manually in “Menu Æ Utility Æ Disk Manager”.

The following description is when HVR-16E does’t have internal primary disk and 4 sets of IEEE13
HDD.
(2) Select a second HDD of [F] Ext and configure a size of alarm partition. Press the “Apply” button
