VK 5012

Inspection and maintenance work

Prescribed purity grade 9 according to NAS 1638 or 6 according to SAE, ASTM, AIA.

Note

Observe the environmental protection regulations when disposing of
waste oil.
Never mix hydraulic fluid and cleaning agent mixtures with waste oil
Always collect these substances in separate containers and dispose
of them according to the regulations.
Observe the applicable accident prevention regulations when
handling cleaning agents and solvents.

• With the press ram in the rear limit position

- Empty the hydraulic fluid tank -> Open the oil drain plug and catch the oil in a

collecting vessel

 

or completely remove the venting filter and siphon off the oil 

(tank

capacity ~ 300 l )

- Blow out the venting filter with compressed air
- Check that the venting filter is not dirty or blocked
-> Replace the venting filter every 2000 operating hours
- Screw the oil drain plug back in
- Top up the oil until the float is at the top of the oil level sight glass
- Screw the venting filter back into place
