Automatic mode
Automatic mode can only be started when the baling press is in the initial position.
In automatic mode you can use the nine-position “Operating mode” switch to select a pro-
gram to suit the material to be pressed.
e.g.:
Position 1 -> Paper / polystyrene
Position 2 -> Aluminium composite / Tetrapack / yoghurt pots
Position 3 -> Foil / mixed plastics
etc.
Depending on the programs (which are created for specific materials) the pre-
compactor is switched on or off.
Procedure:
- Turn the
“Operating mode”
switch to the required program.
- Press the
“Automatic On”
button.
• The yellow
“Automatic mode”
lamp lights up.
• Load the press with material
The press ram moves backwards and forwards automatically as long as the light
barrier is interrupted by material to be pressed. The material is compressed and
pushed into the tapered press channel. If there is a material jam in the hopper it will
be eliminated by use of the precompactor.
When the selected bale length is reached the blue light symbol
„Bale finished“
lights
up, the press ram stops in the front limit position and the bale is strapped fully
automatically. After strapping the cycle starts again from the beginning.
If the material is not sheared off, the press ram reverses, stops and then moves
forward again. If this cycle takes place several times without the material being
sheared off, the press ram returns to its initial position and the press reports a
“Shearing fault”
.
If you press the
“Automatic Stop”
button during operation, the current pressing cycle
is completed, the press ram returns to its initial position and the press switches to
“Manual mode”.
