Integrated Lights-Out
Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) is an HP engineered, application-specific integrated
circuit (ASIC) that embodies industry-leading Lights-Out management functionality
on the ProLiant DL580 Generation 2 server.
Features
The iLO Standard includes basic system board management functions, diagnostics,
and essential Lights-Out functionality. The iLO Standard is provided as standard on
all ProLiant DL580 Generation 2 servers.

iLO is easy to setup and easy to use.
iLO is always on using server auxiliary power, and it is always running
regardless of the state of the server.

The iLO Advanced can be licensed with the optional iLO Advanced Pack. The iLO
Advanced offers sophisticated virtual administration features.
iLO Standard Features
The iLO Standard option is an integrated component in the ProLiant DL580
Generation 2 server and provides:
Text-based console
Virtual power button and reset
Virtual indicators
