Release the hard drive power and data cables from the retention clips (1) and (2) built into the drive cage.

Disconnect the hard drive power cable (3) and data cable (4) from the system board.

Pull the release lever outward (1).

While pulling the release lever outward, slide the drive to the left (2) until it stops, and then remove the 
hard drive from the drive cage.
