Hardware Error Codes
When errors occur in the subsystems, the HP NetStorage 6000 generates
error messages. The system notifies you of errors in any of the following
ways:
n
Traps
n
Event log
n
n
LCD
n
Web interface
Network management applications (HP TopTools, HP OpenView Network
Node Manager, Computer Associates Unicenter TNG Framework) display
trap messages. The HP NetStorage 6000 displays event log messages. The
event log and email notifications give you the time the error occurred. If
one or more actions fail, the failed actions repeat in the next monitoring
cycle.
