Check ambient temperature (must be
below 35° C).

Remove airflow restrictions at the front and
back faceplates.
•
Check fan status reported on front panel
and in NetStorage web interface.
•
Replace any failed system blowers, or call
an HP service representative if the CPU fan
has failed.
Network Activity Blinking red
All network links
are bad or
unattached
•
Check network cable and connections.
•
Check hub/switch port function and
protocol settings.
Drive Active (top
row of LEDs on
the front panel)
Off
Hard drive not
fully seated
Tighten the screw.
Blinking yellow
Drive initializing
or rebuilding
No action required.
Blinking red
Drive failure
Replace the drive. The drive replacement kit
provides detailed instructions.
