128 GB solid-state drive (SSD), M.2
The M.2 SSD is secured with one Phillips screw. It is located under the heat sink and fan.
To remove the M.2 SSD:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (

).
2.
Remove the access panel (

).
3.
Remove the hard drive (

).
4.
Remove the drive cage (
Drive cage on page 139
).
5.
Remove the heat sink (
Heat sink on page 136
).
6.
Remove the fan (
Fan on page 138
).
7.
Rotate the drive cage to its upright position.
8.
Remove the Phillips screw that secures the module to the computer.
