If the device does not have an antenna extension, remove the three locking screws from the
top of the antenna with a 3 mm Allen wrench. If the device has one or more antenna
extensions, remove the locking screw from the top antenna extension and remove the
antenna and the antenna extensions from the part below the flange.

Remove the antenna from the part below the flange (if there are no antenna extensions).

The antenna is not attached to the device. Make sure that the O-ring stays in the groove on
the process connection.

ISO 228-1 (G) connection: Make sure that you use the applicable gasket for the connection
dimensions and the process. Align the gasket correctly. Put the device carefully on the
orientation system. Turn the threaded connection to attach the device to the orientation
system. Tighten the connection to the correct torque (not more than 40 N

) or 65 mm (G 3) open-end wrench.

NPT connection: Wind the thread seal tape around the process connection of the device in
agreement with good engineering practice. Put the device carefully on the orientation system.
Turn the threaded connection to attach the device to the orientation system. Tighten the
connection to the correct torque (not more than 40 N

ft) with a 50 mm (1

NPT) or
65 mm (3 NPT) open-end wrench.
•
Attach the antenna. Make sure that the O-ring stays in the groove on the process connection.
