Status messages (NAMUR NE 107)
Normal mode: device status symbol
If the device status changes, the device shows a status symbol in the top left corner of the display
screen in Normal mode:

There is also a device status page in Normal mode. This page shows a list of short status
messages and gives the status of the device at this time. Push the [
] or [ ] button to get to the
status device status page in Normal mode.
Symbol Letter Message Description and effect
F
F F
F Failure No measurement is possible.
S Out of specification Measurements are available but they are
not sufficiently accurate. Do a check.
M Maintenance required Measurements continue to be accurate but
this could change after a short time.
C Function check A test function is on. The value shown does
not agree with the correct measured value.
I Information This status message does not have an effect
on device measurements.
