1. Set your search conditions based on the options shown in Table 4-4 .
2. Select Search and press . The search results appear in the Event Log Search
screen.
3. Select Cancel to exit the screen without saving the changes.
Text-In Search
The DVR maintains a log of each time there is Text Input. The Text-In Search screen
displays this list.
1. From the Search menu, select
Text-In Search... . The Text-In Search screen
appears.

2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the event for which you would like to see video.
Press to extract the video associated with the Text Input and display the first
image of the event.
3. Press to start playing the "event" video segment.
4. Press to return to live monitoring.
Text-In Highlight the box beside Text-In and press . You can select the text-in
devices which you want any report of text input.
Record
Channels Highlight the box beside Record Channels and press . You can select the
cameras that you want to search for any reports of event recorded data. The DVR
displays the events (not the camera channels) that occurred and also the events
that were recorded on the camera channel that you selected.
If you do not select a camera channel in this field, the DVR will search for events
that are not associated with cameras.
Diagnostic
Events You can also enable or disable self-diagnostic events as part of your search.
These include: Panic Record, Check Recording, Check Alarm-In, Disk Almost
Full, Disk Bad, Disk Temperature, Disk S.M.A.R.T., and Fan Error.
