Adjusting the height of the blades
The height of the blades determines how tall or short the grass will be cut.
Test the lawn mower on a small area and adjust blade height according to your preference.

WARNING
- Make sure to press the manual STOP button before performing the following procedure.
CAUTION:
- Avoid cutting too much at once. Mow gradually step by step (from level 5 to 1.)
- Avoid cutting more than 0.2 in (5 mm) of grass at once. If you want to cut more than 0.2 in (5 mm),
it should be done gradually in steps of 0.2 in (5 mm) maximum per week. Example: decreasing from
2.0 in (50 mm) to 1.2 in (30 mm) should require 4 weeks with 0.2 in (5 mm) steps.

The control panel cover pops up.

Open the height adjustment dial cover with your
fi
nger.
Insert your
fi
nger here
and pull up.

Turn the dial counter-clockwise to lower the blades, or turn the dial clockwise to raise the blades. Use
the numbers on the dial to approximate the height of the blades.
