Lift the cover, then attach the
attaching clip to the anchor fitting,
making sure the strap is not
twisted.
Tighten the tether strap according
to the child restraint system
maker’s instructions.
To attach the tether to the child
restraint system, follow the child
restraint system maker’s
instructions.
When the child restraint system is
used, follow the instructions that
came with the child restraint
system.
Lift the head restraint, then route
the tether strap over the seat-back
and through the head restraint legs.

Child restraint
anchorages are designed to withstand
only those loads imposed by correctly
fitted child restraints. Under no
circumstances are they to be used for
adult seat belts, harnesses or for
attaching other items or equipment to
the vehicle.
