Put your fingers between the front
edge of the bonnet and the front
grille. The bonnet latch handle is
above the ‘‘H’’ logo. Push this
handle up to release the bonnet.
Lift the bonnet. Park the vehicle, and set the
parking brake. Pull the bonnet
release handle under the lower
corner of the dashboard. The
bonnet will pop up slightly.
If the bonnet latch handle moves
stiffly, or if you can open the
bonnet without lifting the handle,
the mechanism should be cleaned
and lubricated.
Pull the support rod out of its clip
by holding the grip, and insert the
end into the designated hole in the
