Chapter 2: Safety Information
•
Do not try to open the device or the power supply unit. Maintenance and repairs
may only be performed by personnel authorised by HOFFRICHTER GmbH.
•
Do not touch live parts of the mains cable or power supply unit if defective. Replace
a defective mains cable/power supply unit.
•
Before cleaning the device, the plug must be disconnected from the electrical outlet.
•
To disconnect the device from the mains supply, unplug it.
•
Do not place any receptacles filled with liquids on the device.
•
Do not place the device anywhere near water containers (e.g. bathtubs).
•
Do not reach for the device under any circumstances if it falls into water.
•
The device must not be used in wet rooms, as humidity penetrating the device
presents a risk of electric shock.
•
Contact a doctor if chest discomfort, shortness of breath, stomach distension,
belching, severe headache, facial pain, skin redness, or other discomfort occurs.
•
The device is not suitable for use in MRI.
•
The device cannot be operated by blind and severely visually impaired persons.
