Comissioning

Removal:

•

Turn the key in the battery lock clockwise all

the way. The upper part of battery will lift

from the downtube.

•

Grip with your forefinger into the hole below

the battery.

•

Press on the safety restraint from above.

•

Pull the battery upwards out of the frame.

Installation:

•

Place the bottom of the PowerTube battery with the contacts in the upper brack

et of the battery holder into the frame.

•

Turn the key in the battery lock clockwise all the way to unlock.

•

Press the battery at the bottom downwards until it clicks into place.

Always remove the key before riding. This prevents the battery from being

removed by unauthorised persons or the key being damaged or falling out.

2.5.

Switching the drive on/off

To turn the system on/off, press the marked knob

on the Purion on-board computer.

Alternatively, you can turn on the drive by pressing

the button on the battery. This method also works

if the button cell in the Purion is empty.

2.6.

Adjusting the assistance level

To increase the assistance level, press the "

button on the Purion until the desired assistance

level appears in the display.

To reduce the assistance level, press the "

" button.
