Deleting and registering the storage

system

In the unlikely event you need to delete the storage system from the Storage Device List,

use the following instructions to delete the storage system, and then register it on the

SVP.

Deleting the registered storage system from the Storage

Device List

Use the following procedure if you must delete the registered storage system from the

Storage Device List window.

Procedure

1. Stop the SVP service (see

Stopping and restarting the service in each storage system

(on page 176)

2. On the SVP desktop, double-click the Open StorageDeviceList icon.

The Storage Device List window opens.

3. In the Storage Device List window, click x for the storage system that you want to

delete.
