• To move forward, push both joysticks on the wireless remote control forward.
• To reverse, pull both joysticks on the wireless remote control back.
• To steer left, push the right joystick forward.
• To steer right, push the left joystick forward.
• To achieve the desired radius of turn, use both joysticks at the same time.
• To turn the Jaibot in its own length, pull one joystick all the way back and simultaneously push the other
joystick all the way forward.
7.1.5 Selecting speed
The rocker switch enables you to select either of 2 speeds.

7.1.6 Setting the height of the telescopic mast
• Push the switch for adjusting the height of the telescopic mast up and hold it in this position until the
correct working height is reached.
Observe the information displayed on the tablet.
• To adapt height to suit differences in headroom below ceilings and through access-ways, push the
switch for adjusting the height of the telescopic mast down.
Fully retract the telescopic mast in preparation for moving the Jaibot over any considerable distance,
for example if there is any likelihood of encountering gradients on the route.
7.1.7 Switching between drilling and moving
• To drill, for positioning and for servicing the Jaibot, push the rocker switch up.
• To move the robot arm to a defined position (e.g. transport or service position), push the rocker switch
up.
• To move the Jaibot, push the rocker switch down.
7.1.8 Switching between drilling and pause
• To start the drilling process for the drilling series, push the switch up.
• To pause the drilling process for the drilling series, push the switch down.
If you pause the drilling process while the Jaibot is drilling a drilling series, drilling is not paused until a
drillhole that has already been started is finished.
If you want to end the drilling process immediately, press
Cancel

7.1.9 Switching the PLT 300 and PLC 400 on
1. Switch the PLT 300 and PLC 400 on.
2. Start the Jaibot application on the PLC 400.
3. To view the drilling project data, enter your
Hilti
ID in the on-screen form.

7.1.10 Device for applying identification marks for drillholes
When necessary, by way of identification Jaibot can mark the holes after they have been drilled, applying
patterned markings that can be defined in advance. The markings can be chosen to identify the drillholes for
the different trades or by hole diameter, for example. The information about the identification marks is saved
in the CSV data file.
