12 Changing IP address of gateway
12.1 Overview
In its state of delivery, the EU5C-SWD-SERCOS gateway has the following
IP network settings:

IP address:
192.168.0.1
·
Subnet mask:
255.255.255.0
·
Gateway address (standard gateway/router):
192.168.0.100
You can change the IP network settings of the gateway and adapt them to
your standard company network IP settings – e. g. in order to easily update
the firmware of the gateway via its web interface (for this, see also section
Updating firmware via web interface

To change the IP network settings, use the following Sercos standard
parameter:

Changing IP address: IDN
S-0-1020.0.0
·
Changing subnet mask: IDN
S-0-1021.0.0
·
Changing gateway address (standard gateway/router): IDN
S-0-1022.0.0
·
Activate new settings (“procedure command”): IDN
S-0-1048.0.0
Note:
To change its IP settings the gateway must be in communication
phase 2 (CP2).
The new settings can afterwards be checked by using the following IDNs:

·
Reading subnet mask: IDN
S-0-1021.0.1

Reading gateway address (standard gateway/router): IDN
