8.2 Calibrate 

clamps 

The calibration of the vertical and horizontal clamps in the cutting cell is carried out automatically using the 
wizard in the ‘Service’ menu. Before beginning any calibration procedures make sure that the machine is 
ready: 

 

Make sure the clamps in the cutting cell are clean and moving smoothly. 

 

Check that the compressed air pressure is correct. 

 

Select the ‘Calibration’ screen on the remote control: 

 

Activate the robot high power. 

 

Disable the safety lock. 

 

Home the gripper 

 

Home the sideways loading chains 

 

Home the clamps. 

 

Place the calibration column in the cutting cell. Open the ‘Calibrate clamps’ wizard in the ‘Service’ menu and 
follow the instructions: 

   

 

One by one the lights will come on as the calibration progresses. When all lights are on the next window will 
open automatically.
