Calibration mode: Homing
The machine components in this section must be moved to their home positions. Once homed, the machine
knows the location of each component. Many actions (including some calibration procedures) also require
the operator to disable the safety lock. These actions require the operators attention, always check that the
action can be carried out without risk before overriding the safety. As an extra safety measure, if no action is
taken within approximately 20 seconds the safety will automatically be enabled again. If the safety lock
button is pushed while the safety is disabled it will also be enabled again.
Calibrate sideways loading
chains.
Calibrate top printer. Disable
safety lock required – make sure
there is no material in the way.
Calibrate gripper. Disable safety
required – make sure the
conveyor is clear.
Calibrate
clamps.
When the robot is in ‘High power’, there is sufficient air pressure and the above homing actions have been
carried out, the ‘Machine ready’ button should be visible at the top left of the screen.
