Configuring access settings
Procedure
1.

System Utilities
screen, select
System Configuration

iLO 5 Configuration Utility

Setting Options

2.
Update user access
.
3.
Save your settings.
Set to factory defaults
CAUTION:
This operation clears all user and license data.
Use this option to reset iLO to the factory default settings. When you do so, you cannot access the iLO 5
Configuration Utility until after the next system reboot. If you are managing iLO remotely, the remote
console session is automatically ended.
If the server has a factory installed license key, the license key is retained.
Resetting iLO to the factory default settings
Procedure
1.
From the
System Utilities
screen, select
System Configuration
>
iLO 5 Configuration Utility
>
Set
to factory defaults
.
The iLO 5 Configuration Utility prompts you to select
YES
or
NO
.
2.
Select
YES
.
3.
When prompted to confirm the reset, press
Enter
.
iLO resets to the factory default settings. If you are managing iLO remotely, the remote console
session is automatically ended.
4.
Resume the boot process:
a.
Optional: If you are managing iLO remotely, wait for the iLO reset to finish, and then start the iLO
remote console.
