The filter of the manifold is
blocked.
The nozzle assembly is blocked
with charring.
The heater hose is blocked with
charring.
Clean the filter.
Reset the proper operating
temperature of the nozzle
assembly or leave for the
qualify personnel to clean
and disassemble the nozzle.
Adjust the operation
temperature of the hose and
clean the hose.
5.3 TROUBLESHOOTING FOR ADHESIVE APPLICATION PROBLEMS

Excessive adhesive at
beginning of bead
deposit
1.Too much pressure to the gear
pump.
2. Nozzle is too far from the
substrate.
3. The nozzle partially plugged.
Adjust the pressure of
pressure regulator or the
inverter, to reduce the
motor speed.
Move nozzle to the
distance of 0.5

from substrate.
Dismantle the nozzle and
clean it.
Excessive adhesive at
the end of bead deposit. 1. Insufficient pressure to gear
pump.
2. The adhesive is too cold.
3. Too long nozzle or low
temperature.
Adjust the pressure of
pressure regulator or the
inverter, to increase the
motor speed.
Adjust properly the
temperatures of all heating
zones.
Adjust the operation
temperature of nozzle
assembly or change the
nozzle of right length.
