Condition Problem Solution
White streaks show up in
printed text or graphics (see
Figure 56).
Ink dried in the nozzles or
cartridge malfunction.
Always store the ink
cartridges in an airtight box.
Perform a Clean Heads print
by pressing the Quick
and
Arrow down keys
together.
Clean the ink cartridge and
the pen board contacts as
described in 8.1, on page
89.
Print the
Cartr. Print Patt
service print form the
SERVICE -> SERVICE PRINT
menu to detect a possible
cartridge malfunction. If the
cartridge has a malfunction,
replace it.
Check the cartridge from the
SERVICE -> HARDWARE TEST
-> Cartridge
menu to detect a possible
cartridge malfunction. If the
cartridge has a malfunction,
replace it.
