Air Purge Limit – APPT can limit the amount on con>nuous air purge >me to 60 minutes during normal opera>on. IF
there are large amounts of noncondensibles expected to be present, for example during startup, this limit can be
disabled allowing the APPT to purge air con>nuously. To change the selec>on, press /\ or \/ to enable or disable.
Purge Point Enable – APPT08 has purge points 01-08, APPT16 has purge points 01-16, and APPT24 has purge points
01-24. At system startup, when a purger is ini>ally installed in a system having fewer purge points than are available
on the APPT, the unused purge points must be set to 0. To enable or skip a purge point simply touch the purge point
buPon on the screen and it will change the selec>on.
Water CollecJon – This screen contains informa>on that can’t be changed. The counts indicate the >me (in
seconds) the water concentra>on as measured by the water concentra>on sensor (HPT717) exceeds the water
concentra>on set point. The concentra>on of water in the purger evaporator must exceed 25% for 10 con>nuous
minutes AND have the low liquid level sensor reading wet before the purger will enter Concentra>ng Water mode.
Drain Mode will always read 0 and can’t be changed.
Display Units – Changes the temperature and pressure units for the display readout. To change the selec>on, press /
\ or \/ to switch the units.

Air Purge Limit

air purge time to 60 minutes during normal operation. If
there are large amounts of noncondensibles expected to
be present, for example during startup, this limit can be
disabled allowing the APPT to purge air continuously. To
change the selection, press /\ or \/ to enable or disable.

installed in a system having fewer purge points than are
available on the APPT, the unused purge points must be
set to 0. To enable or skip a purge point simply touch
the purge point button on the screen and it will change
the selection.
Water Collection
– This screen contains information
that can’t be changed. The counts indicate the time (in
seconds) the water concentration as measured by the
water concentration sensor (HPT717) exceeds the water
concentration set point. The concentration of water in the
purger evaporator must exceed 25% for 10 continuous
minutes AND have the low liquid level sensor reading wet
before the purger will enter Concentrating Water mode.
Drain Mode will always read 0 and can’t be changed.
