Press the HotSync button

 

on the cradle.

In the Users dialog box, select the user name you entered when 
you installed the Palm Desktop software. 

Your user name serves as the connection between your handheld 
computer and your desktop computer. If you are sharing Palm 
Desktop software with another handheld user, you can change users 
by selecting a user name from the User list on the right side of the 
Palm Desktop window. Be sure you select the correct user name 
before entering data in the Palm Desktop software.

Remove the handheld from the cradle when the Complete 
message appears.
