Using the chronograph
Start-Stop function
Timing a single event:
1.
Press button
A
: the chronograph starts.
2.
Press button
A
: the chronograph stops.
3.
Press button
B
to reset to zero.
Note
: Before you start timing, the hands should be reset
to zero. If necessary, press button
B
.
Cumulative time function
This measures successive times. Each result is added
to the previous one.
1.
Press button

: the chronograph starts.
2.

again: the chronograph stops.
Repeat these two steps as many times as desired. At the
end of the last measurement, the chronograph displays
the total of all the times measured. Press button
B
to
reset to zero.
Split-time function (intermediate times)
This function allows the display and reading of mul-
tiple successive times measured from the same start-
ing point. The time taken to read the amounts can be
caught up on without disturbing the measurement of
total elapsed time.

to read the first intermediate time.

again. The chronograph hands catch
up with the time elapsed since the beginning of the
measurement.

Similarly, press button

again to read a further inter-
mediate time, and once again to cause the hands to
catch up.

At the end of the whole measurement, press button

to read the total time.

to reset to zero.
NB
: The maximum catch-up time is 30 minutes.
3.3 Mechanical watch
Mechanical movement. The most traditional of move-
ments in watchmaking is the mechanical one. To en-
sure that the watch does not stop, it must be wound
regularly – once a day.

Setting the time
1.
Pull out the crown
C
completely to position (p2).
2.
Set the time by turning the crown in the desired
direction.
3.
Push the crown back in completely to position (p0):
the seconds hand starts again, allowing perfect syn-
chronization with a time signal.

3.4 Automatic watch
Automatic movement. The mechanism of the watch
includes an oscillating rotor that winds the mainspring
via the motion of your wrist. The running reserve is ap-
proximately 42 hours (60 hours for the caliber H-21 and
H-31). If necessary, the watch may be rewound manually.
With most of our models, the beauty of the inner work-
ing of the watch movement can be admired through
the transparent case back.

Setting the time
1.
Pull out the crown

tween 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.
