the tank to pump line. The minimum
flow rate should be continuously dis-
charged until 80% of the tank is dis-
charged.

4.2. Maintenance Log
As a minimum, use this form to record all maintenance actions: cleanings, checks, faults, tests,
parts replaced, and tear downs/major overhauls. An accurate maintenance log can provide key
insights when pump problems arise; preventing extended down times, and shorten troubleshoot-
ing.
Full page Log sheets are provided in APPENDIX D, Operator Maintenance Log, for your conven-
ience. Always keep at least one original (unused) sheet in this manual for copying purposes. The
remaining pages may be used to start the LOG.
A sample of the Log (with only a single row of data/entry cells) is provided below. The recom-
mended data/entries are explained in detail in the text that follows the sample.
