Dismantling and disposal
11.1
Dismantling
The work described herein represents an intervention into your drinking water system.
Have this work performed by specialist companies and specialist installers only.
CAUTION:
The system is pressurised and connected to the electrical system
● Injuries due to water escaping under pressure.
● Risk of electric shock.
► Depressurise the product and disconnect it from mains prior to starting the
dismantling process.
1.
Close the shut-off valve at the drinking water’s point of entry inside the house.
2.
Open a water tap.
3.
Wait for a few seconds.
» The pressure in the product and the pipe network is being relieved.
4.
Close the water tap.
5.
Disconnect the product from mains.
» The system is de-energised.
6.
Separate the product from the connection hoses.
Keep a collecting vessel (e.g. a bucket) handy to catch escaping water.
7.
Separate the connection hoses from the connection block.
8.
Dismantle the connection block.
9.
Close the gap in your drinking water pipe, e.g. by using a fitting piece.

Disposal
► Comply with the applicable national regulations.

Packaging
► Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally sound manner.
