The flush trimmer adjustment shafts (see
Figure 66) require lubrication weekly to ensure
smooth operation and prevent premature failure.
To lubricate the flush trimmer adjustment shafts,
apply a light film of machine oil to the shafts, then
adjust the upper and lower cutterheads a few
times to evenly distribute the oil.

The edgebanding feed gear (see
Figure 67)
requires lubrication monthly to ensure smooth
operation and prevent premature failure. Remove
the rear panel to access the edgebanding feed
gear. To lubricate the gear, clean it with a stiff
brush and mineral spirits and allow it to dry, then
lightly grease the gear.
