Six-fl ap wing
In its standard form the mc-22s fi xed-wing program
provides a convenient method of controlling a ma-
ximum of four servos for the superimposed aileron /
fl ap functions.
If the wings are fi tted with six control surfaces, a dual
mixer and a free mixer can be set up to control two
more servos (connected to receiver outputs 8 + 1) as
supplementary inboard ailerons and fl aps.
For this example we consider a glider without airbra-
kes in the wings.
Connect the servos to the receiver in the following se-
quence:
Control surface
Receiver output
Ailerons
2 + 5
Flaps
6 + 7
Supplementary fl aps
8 + 1
Elevator
3
Rudder
4
To control all the wing fl aps you will need the two
sticks plus one or two linear sliders or rotary controls,
or alternatively two-channel switched modules con-
nected to inputs CH5, CH6 and CH8 on the trans-
mitter circuit board (two-channel proportional modu-
le, Order No.
4152
, proportional rotary module, Order
No.
4111
). The switch modules (Order No.
4151
or
4151.1 … 3
) are used to switch between pre-set fl ap
settings.

fl aps (8 and 1 same direction „

ce the ailerons are not controlled by the Ch1 stick, but
by the aileron stick, you must now move to the menu

This “disconnects” the throttle / brake stick (Ch1) from
control channel 1.
Now move to the menu ...

Ch1” to an unused li-
near mixer.
On the second screen page you can enter a mixer va-
lue to suit your model.

This mixer transfers the aileron function to the two in-
board fl ap servos 8 + 1 with the help of the dual mixer
which you set up previously.
Now we need to program the fl ap servos 6 + 7 to act
as ailerons. Move to the menu ...
