2 Setup

2.13.3 Installing the Ink ribbon to the Ink Ribbon Cassette

(1)  Install the ink ribbons to the ribbon cassettes which are prepared to the printing test.
(2)  Install the RESIN ink ribbon (RP120-B-R4A) to the top ribbon cassette (head 3).
(3)  Pull out the ink ribbon cassette from the ribbon stocker gently as shown in the picture below.

Step 1

While pressing the stopper lever

of center back, pull the ribbon

cassette gently.

Step 2

The head pressure selector plate for the RESIN and the Semi-RESIN ink ribbons

There are two types of ink ribbons: RESIN and Semi-RESIN.
RESIN (Resin-type).......................RP120-***
Semi-RESIN (Wax-type)...............WD120-***
The head pressure selector plate position have to be selected by the ink ribbon type.
