5.6 Setting the Data Format to be Received
Before data is sent from the computer, your plotter must be set to recognize the data format (command
mode) sent by the software. Your plotter supports two data formats (command modes): GP-GL (Graphtec
commands) and HP-GL commands. Select the command mode best suited for your application.
(1) Press the
[PAUSE] key
to select PAUSE mode.
(2) Press the
[NEXT] key
repeatedly until the following menu is displayed.

(3) Press the
[F1] key
(INTERFACE) to display the menu shown below.

(COMMAND) to display the command setting screen.

to select the GP-GL command mode.

Specify the origin point.
Use the

to toggle the display between CENTER (center of the plotting area) and L.L. (lower left).

[ENTER] key

rm your selection.

GP-GL
Specify the step size.
Use the

to cycle through the 0.100, 0.050, 0.025, and 0.010 mm values. After selecting the desired
value, press the
[ENTER] key
to con

rm your selection. To cancel your selection, press the
[NEXT] key
.
(5) Press the PAUSE key to cancel PAUSE mode.
