Move the tip of the tool selected by the
current setting within area.
(5) The prompts for setting point 2, point 3 and point 4 that were set in the registration mark mode will be displayed in
succession. Make the settings in the same way as for point 1.
(6) When all the points have been detected, the prompts for setting the second point position, the third point position
and the fourth point position will be displayed in succession. Make the settings in the same way as for the
fi
rst point
position.
(7) When all the point positions have been set, the menu shown below is displayed.

The
display’s
fi
rst line (M) shows the distance between the
fi
rst and second points as read by the plotter. Input the
actual distance (the data distance) in the second line (S). Use the
[
]
or
[
]
key
to change the numeric value, and
then press the
[ENTER] key
. The plotter returns to Ready status.
If CUSTOM or STANDARD has been selected on the Registration Mark Distance Adjustment menu, the value is
adjusted automatically and the menu for inputting the adjustment value is not displayed.
If the value you input is exceedingly large (1.5 times or greater) or very small (0.5 times or less), or if the angle of tilt
with respect to the original axis tilt is 45° or greater, the following prompt is displayed. In this case, please re-input
the value.

(8) If 3-point or 4-point adjustment has been selected, the menu for adjusting the distance between points 1 and 3 will
be displayed. Make the settings in the same way as for the distance between points 1 and 2.
(9) When all the adjustments have been completed, the plotter returns to Ready status.
