3.2.3 Sensor testing
The induced voltage of the sensor should be tested after the gear ring and the sensor are installed.
a) Use your hands to turn the wheel to 30 rpm;
b) Use a multimeter to measure the voltage between the two poles of the sensor;
c) When the wheel speed is greater than 30rpm, the sensor voltage should be larger than 0.20V and the
ratio of the maximum induced voltage value to the minimum should be smaller or equal to 2.0. Otherwise,
ABS will not work and ABS warning light will be on.
The sensor resistance is between 1,100 and 1,250
Ω
, which highly depends on the temperature.
3.3 Electromagnetic valve
3.3.1 Installation of electromagnetic valve
The electromagnetic valve is installed on the vehicle axle and its pipe connected to the air brake chamber
should be as short as possible and should not be longer than 1.5m, with the diameter greater than 9mm.
The port 1 is for air source connection and the port 2 is for air chamber connection. The exhaust port of
electromagnetic valve is made downward with a deviation of ±30°.
3.3.2 Testing of electromagnetic valve
a) Turn on the ignition switch and listen for the cycle sound of the solenoid. If no sound cycle is heard,
inspect the electric circuit connection;
b) Use the diagnosis software to excite the electromagnetic valve and judge if the valve works normally.
The resistance between each of the pole leg of electromagnetic valve and the grounding should be

3.4 ASR differential brake valve
ASR differential brake valve is a normally closed three position two way electromagnetic valve. When it
is exited, the air port will be opened to let air pass. The driving axle corresponding to the spinning wheels
is controlled through ABS electromagnetic valve. To avoid freezing at the exhaust port, it is
recommended to adopt a vertical installation, with the port 3 pointing downward (with a inclination angle
smaller than ±30).
Use PC diagnosis software to excite ASR valve for the testing. The resistance between the two poles of
the ASR valve is 35±2

3.5 Two-way single directional valve
The two intake ports of two-way single directional valve connect with the foot valve at one end and ASR
differential brake valve at the other end respectively. WABCO recommends that the installation of
