Four-way protective valve
Disassembly
1)
To facilitate the re-installation, make a positional marks for
each part before dismantling;
2)
Clamp tightly the four-way protective valve with a vice clamp
with copper or aluminum protection.
3)
Remove the protective plug 15 on the valve bonnet 14 and take
off the adjusting screw assembly 13 on the valve bonnet;
4)
Screw out the cross recessed head screw 16 on the valve bonnet
14;
5)
Take out the components from the valve body 1 in sequence:
valve bonnet 14, adjusting screw seat 12, upper spring 11,
spring seat 10, diaphragm 9, valve assembly 8 and lower spring
7;
6)
The dismantling of the other chambers is the same as the
above.

Assembly
1)
Caution: The diaphragm should be put on the valve body with
the red side downward.
2)
Apply a layer of grease of suitable amount on all working
surfaces and the valve assembly 8, upper spring 11 and
adjusting screw 13.
3)
Carry out the assembling in a procedure contrary to that of dismantling.
The tightening torque for cross recessed head screw 16 is 6N·m.
4)
Coat an adhesive of proper medium strength on the upper part of the adjusting screw assembly when the
assembling is completed.

Performance test
a)
When the switch A1, A2, A3 or A4 is opened, turn on the switch A0. Make sure the pressure value of Gauge
M0 must be adjusted to 670~700kPa by adjusting screw (13).
b)
With the switches A1, A2, A3 and A4 closed, open A0. When the pressure in the gauge M0 is 8000kPa, open
the switch A1, A2, A3 or A4. When the pressure of the gauge M1, M2, M3 or M4 is zero, the pressure in the
other gauges must be greater than or equal to 670kPa.
