VOIP GATEWAY32 allows 5 phones in parallel connection within short loop distance
(300 meters), 3 phones within long distance (1500 meters). When the number exceeds the
maximum number, or the line distance is too long, or some phones equivalent resistances
are big, VOIP GATEWAY32 may be unable to drive all of them into ringing . You can try it by
adjusting FXS parameters ( Advanced Configuration ---> FXS Configuration ---> Ring
Voltage (peak value), of which the default value is 90. You can reduce it and test the ring
effect. If the phones still can not ring normally, please cut down the number of phones in
parallel connection.

In some earlier version, SIP protocol, the call between 2 ports of one VOIP GATEWAY32,
FXS/FXO, and the caller side may hear noise in ringback tone. This is because VOIP
GATEWAY32 receive 183 SDP message, but the server do not send the color ring back tone
signal, which cause some abnormal signals of remote side be sent to the caller side. This
problem can be solved through configuring sending Color Ring Back Tone function in server,
or updating VOIP GATEWAY32.

Siemens 8000(3) P/TS D phone connects to FXS port of VOIP GATEWAY32. For the
first call, it can ring and display correct Caller ID. But after several times, Caller ID can not be
displayed.
This problem is because that Siemens phone will clear the Caller ID if the ring interval
exceeds a set time, and wait for the next call. You can modify the FXS configuration of VOIP
GATEWAY32 (refer to section
5.4.1
):
Advance Configuration ---> FXS ----> Ring Cadency, you can set it into:
1000/3000,0/0,0/0,0/0
