VOIP GATEWAY32 provides trace output interface, which can help engineers diagnose and
trouble shoot. Trace currently can only output through command line or web page.

Under some situation, you may need to catch IP packets to help diagnose the problem.
Tcpdump, wireshark are the tools which are normal and very widely used. It need hub or port
mirror function of switch. If you haven’t, please use this voip gateway’s lan port. Please refer
to chapter 7.3.1.

For VOIP GATEWAY32 whose switch chip is IP175D, you can set LAN to supervise the
data sending and receiving situation of WAN interface, MAC chip, and MSP chip. So if you
connect PC to LAN interface, you can get the supervising data. The configuration is as
follows:
VOIP GATEWAY:\debug>sls
Please input LAN port supervision
0--disable
1--supervise WAN port
2--supervise MAC port
3--supervise MSP port : 1
The command has been completed successfully!
Attention: sls command can only work when the switch chip is IP175D. If the switch
typeisIP175C, sls command will not work, and you can only get the data packet through
putting WAN interface and PC network interface in the same HUB;
VOIP GATEWAY:\debug>sls
SORRY: it is only available in IP175D switch!

Sometimes, you may need product provide TDM data to do the analysis. Please do it
according to the following steps:
Step 1: Connect PC and R32 to 2 ports of the same HUB;
Step 2: Enable the output through sd command in debug.
