No function when On/Off Trigger (8) is operated
No live mains connection
Check mains connection and switch on power
Defective On/Off Trigger Switch
Replace the On/Off Switch at an authorised GMC service
centre
Bad quality cut
Grass is too high or too thick for the trimmer motor
Work more slowly and if necessary use a different tool
Vegetation is wrapped around the cutting head
Switch off the trimmer and clear vegetation from the cutting
head area
Slow rotation speed
Tool is overheating
Switch off the tool and let it cool down to room temperature.
Inspect and clean the ventilation slots
Carbon brushes are worn
Have carbon brushes replaced at an authorised GMC
service centre
